Welcome !!!
Hi everybody!
I decided to create a community where we all could get acquainted and stay in touch before meeting each other at the end of August in L'Aquila (and maybe even continue using it for discussing common topics after our study starts).
I believe that sharing ideas and opinions in the community will be more convenient than sending multiple email messages.
Feel free to join this blog.
Friendly yours,
Dmitry Ponomarev.

It's a good effort. I will try to post often. thanks dimitry
Thanks Dmitry. It's a very good idea to have an online society for us. But, can you default language to English?
Thanks again.
Congratulations all!!!
Looking forward to seeing you.
Day, sorry, I didn't notice there was an option allowing to set default language, I thought Google automatically chose language depending on viewer's country. Thank you for this, now I've changed blog language to English.
If you have any other remarks, don't hesitate to let me know.

Great Idea! :D
Hi Everyone!!!
Great idea Dmitry.
At the instance of some of you I set community time to GMT + 00 instead of Moscow time (which corresponds to GMT + 3:00) so you don't have to keep in mind Moscow offset to calculate when a new message is posted in terms of local date and time.
Браво!
Great idea
Hi Marin!
I'm glad to see you on this community. I've just sent you the invitation through Blogger system. Let me know if you haven't received it (I sent the invitations for some members even twice before they finally got it, so problems may occur).
Marin, what country are you from and what have you been studying in University of Nice?
By the way, I couldn't find you in the original student list
that was sent to all of us on May, 15. Have you been invited to participate in MathMods programme just recently?
Hello Dmitry!
Thank your for the invitation, and I didn't see this message you left me, thanks for it too.
I am from Moldova, and I was studying in Nice "Applied Mathematics and Social Sciences".
Since I was studying more than 6 months in Europe, I am considered as an european applicant for MathMods.
The application deadline was the 31st of May, and admission was confirmed the 7th of July.
That's why you saw my email so lately.
I understand you're from Russia, but what did you study before?
Marin, it's so cool you're from Moldova. I'm pretty sure you know Russian!
I got my degree in Applied mathematics (like most of us, I guess) this year - I graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.
How did you happen to study in Nice for 3 years? Did you apply to the University there after finishing a couple of years of study in some Moldova University?
Dmitry, I do speak Russian !
Actionally, I studied 1 year "Civil Engineering" at the Polytechnical University of Moldova.
Then I was accepted in Nice and went out.
Marin, nice to hear it!
See you in L'Aquila...
